Calder Assessment Group was founded in 2011 in Columbus, Ohio to bring defensible, norm-referenced cognitive assessment to organisations that had been relying on unstructured interviews.

Our approach

Every instrument we publish is developed against a documented construct definition and piloted on a representative sample before release. Items are reviewed for adverse impact, and norms are refreshed on a rolling three-year cycle.

Psychometrics team

Our assessments are developed and maintained by a team of measurement specialists with backgrounds in industrial-organisational psychology and educational measurement. Technical manuals are available to clients under licence.

Compliance

Our instruments are designed for use consistent with the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures. Clients are responsible for validation in their own context.
